During last October, elections took place in Venezuela, Brazil and Belgium: three countries from two different continents, which used electronic voting in their elections.

These three electoral processes proved to gather the conditions which have defined electronic voting as the way of the future: accuracy, transparency, speed, equality and anonymity.

“Altogether, 170 million people (registered voters) in those countries benefited from electoral technology and the services implemented by Smartmatic” according to Smartmatic’s Electoral Solutions VP Eduardo Correia.
