As a prelude to the possible introduction of electronic voting in Honduran elections, the Education Ministry has given students the opportunity to use the technology to choose their student governments authorities.
According to Education Minister Marlon Escoto, “This idea came about as one of the many initiatives designed to promote and generate democratic values among children beginning in their school years.”
