The Nigerian committee of the Independent National Electoral Commission has recommended the implementation of electronic voting before the elections of 2015.
In recent declarations, Senator Jazere Alkali encouraged the creation of a pilot program of electronic voting around the country.
Senator Alkali said that through the modification of electoral law, legislators could give the electoral body some flexibility in setting guidelines for the use of an electronic voting system as a case study.
