The aim of the simulation is for electors to familiarise with the voting system for the upcoming presidential elections on 7 October.

During the simulation, open to all voters, technology and logistic elements will be tested in the same way as they will be used on the day of the election.

They will also closely monitor the deployment, contingency and withdrawal of election material, the counting process and data transmission, to test the good working order of the two national totalisation centres.

In this first drill of national reach, voters will have the opportunity to get direct contact with the electoral voting circuit and will be able to interact with the Integrated Authentication System (SAI) and the new ballot paper.
