The IEEZ or Electoral Institute of the state of Zacatecas provided the inhabitants of Jerez with four electronic ballot boxes to choose their Queen. The election was very successful as more than four thousand votes were registered after the nine and a half hours election.
The first thing that was done after the electronic ballots were installed was to provide orientation to the citizens to ensure everything runs in an effective and transparent manner. All the executive tables had a representative for each candidate and staff chosen by the board of trustees of the Fair of Jerez.
