On July 24, the advisory commission on e-voting in Colombia held a sessions to analyze the technical document that lays out the criteria for installing the system in the country during the next election.
The advisory committee is debating using two methods of e-voting. One involves using an electronic card and the other uses a touchscreen. Both methods print a certificate after voting.
The advisory committee will meet again on July 31 to finish working on the technical document that will serve as a guide for the Colombian government.
