Peru’s progress in the implementation of electronic voting systems throughout the country has been so great that the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) managed to hold 12 elections with in-person electronic voting during 2013.
Some 2,193 voters have expressed their satisfaction with the voting experience. The majority of them indicated that their vote was recorded easily and quickly without compromising the security, transparency and reliability that the ONPE is known for.
