Several Latin American countries will hold elections this year, which will give voting technology a chance to take center stage and demonstrate its many benefits as well as its effectiveness.
Electronic voting is becoming more and more prevalent in Latin countries. Colombia, Ecuador and Peru will carry out voting technology tests to determine which type will meet their needs and can be used in future elections. Additionally, Brazil will continue to use its electronic voting machines in the country’s elections. Finally, El Salvador and Panama will begin to move forward with electronic voting systems.
