The secretary of Thailand’s electoral commission has announced that the electronic voting machines developed in Thailand will be ready for the next general elections.
According to the secretary of the commission, Mr. Puchong, the machines have been designed to fit inside a light suitcase. They are very compact and easy to transport. The buttons used to cast ballots are bigger than those in the earlier versions of the system and have the capacity to register as many as 30 candidates.
