During the next elections on the 7th of October in Venezuela, a new system will be introduced for voters’ biometric authentication and to deter voter impersonation in the 38.538 provided polling stations.

On the 7th of October, the 19 million registered voters will have to use the Integrated Authentication System (SAI) before voting, this system will reinforce the accuracy and security of the system even more.

The vote secrecy is guaranteed since the SAI devices have “a tail of no duplicity” where they insert -randomly- the voters fingerprints who are registered in the system so that a person who has already voted can not unlock the device.
