Colombia is preparing for the future implementation of electronic voting in the country’s electoral process.
The first test, which intends to check the system works correctly and all needed material is available, will be undertaken in the political parties’ internal offices. As stated by Carlos Ariel Sánchez, National Civil registrar.
Also, Carmen Alicia Rueda Rueda, the Exchequer IT director confirmed there is an agreement to budget for the investment needed for the electronic voting of the country.
First tests for electronic voting will be undertaken internally by the parties
