Students at Spain’s Pablo de Olavide University used an electronic voting system to choose their next general student delegation.
The election, held from March 11-13, was the first of its kind used in the Andalusian university system.
But these elections are historic, not only because the inclusion of technology. For the first time, students will be able to elect their representatives directly.
Such changes are having a positive impact in terms of turnout.
