Nearly 100 mayors from Peru’s border areas are going to elect the members of the National Council for the Development of Borders and Border Integration (Conadif) using e-voting technology.
This group will be made up of six mayors (three provincial mayors and three district mayors), with one representing each border area. In accordance with the National Office of Electoral Processes, they will make use of software developed for electoral bodies to carry out electronic voting, as well as electronic logistics such as a server, laptops and printers.
