Uruguay’s House of Representatives will launch a new electronic voting system to modernize and improve their obsolete voting systems.

In addition to e-voting, this new system incorporates a digital fingerprint reader to validate the identity of the Representative when entering the room.

When it is time to vote, the President of the House of Representatives enables the legislators to use the system.
