A year ago, there was a post about how the SPIA used an electronic voting system to elect its board of directors for 2013-2014.
The results from using this technology were so positive that the society plans to use it again for their next election on December 12.
According to comments by Rodrigo Sánchez, SPIA president, “the association will serve as a developer for electronic voting to be used in all association and union elections as well as general elections in the country in the future”.
