The electronic vote was used in many communal halls for the elections on the 29th of April, to elect the 22.000 dignitaries of the 1.785 communal action boards.

The use of this voting system has served the purpose of testing the infrastructure to ensure the system is efficient and secure and to make sure the election day process is fully democratic.

The halls where this system was used are Normandía (Engativá), Lombardía (Suba); El Campín (Teusaquillo); Arborizadora Baja (Ciudad Bolívar) and La Andrea (Usme).
