The first e-voting test was carried out by the Dominican Republic’s Central Electoral Commission (JCE) last September 26.
Authorities are planning to use the system during the elections that are set to take place at the Santo Domingo Autonomous University on February 14, 2014.
According to those in charge of the project, the software was designed by technicians from the JCE with help and advice from technicians from Venezuela’s National Electoral Council.
