On October 8, the president of Uruguay’s House of Representatives, German Cardoso, showcased the new e-voting system that will be used in the country’s House of Representatives.

Uruguay deputies to use electronic voting

The project, which has a budget of $370,546, will be implemented soon in a way that does not interfere with the legislative body’s normal schedule.

A congressional delegation from Spain met with the president of the House to share their experience with the e-voting system that will soon be installed in Uruguay’s legislature.
