Students of John Hopkins University will have to protect a fictitious electronic voting system from hacker attacks, in what is known as the “National CyberWatch Center Mid-Atlantic Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC)”.

CCDC was designed to give students the opportunity to apply all the theory they have learned and use their abilities to defend systems from cyber attacks in real time, oriented and guided by computer security professionals (code-named “red team”) in a controlled environment.
