On the occasion of the next regional elections of December 16, the National Electoral Council (CNE) ordered an audit for the voting machine software to be used in the regional elections.
Thanks to this audit, the technicians in charge will ensure that the operative system of the 36,200 machines to be used on December 16 count votes correctly, besides storing them in random order so as to prevent their secrecy from being broken.
